jeff noel is now on Facebook.

Like yesterday’s post about joining Twitter a few days ago, last night I joined Facebook.

So?

Exactly.

It means nothing to some and to others, it means I’m embracing the future.

The future isn’t going to wait because we aren’t ready.

It’s coming at us like a freight train.

Whether we seize the day or not, the day still comes and goes.

Before we know it, we could be on our death bed.  Seriously.

I don’t live with the fear of dying.

I live with the fear of not fully living.

Carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂

PS.  It’s not even 7:00AM yet, and this is my 5th blog post this morning.  I’m not bragging, nor am I making any excuses, about what I do.  I just do it and if you want to criticise me or cheer for me, the choice is yours

The choice is always ours, isn’t it.  Particularly when it comes to our attitude.

Carpe diem,  jeff noel 🙂

jeff noel is now on Twitter.

Joined Twitter a few days ago.

Took the plunge.

Did you see the cover of this week’s Time Magazine?

The Time Magazine issue I have Twitter on the cover.  Seriously.

Tomorrow, I’ll tell you what I did today – in terms of social networking that is.

Hey, I hope you have a great day.  This is an exciting time we live in.  Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

jeff noel Talks About Lane 8.org

Happy Sunday everyone.

It was weird taking a week off from posting here at jeff noel.com

But, you guessed it, I posted on three other blogs every single day – 21 jeff noel blog posts this week.

Quantity is a good thing.

Like I said before, if you want to be a great runner, you need to run a a lot.

If you want to be a great writer, it would make sense that you should write a lot.

And, to mix it up, use other methods to say the same thing.  Here’s a jeff noel midlife You Tube video from Lane8.org

Never let your memories be bigger than your dreams. Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

Weekend Festivities?

A three-day weekend.  Those don’t happen much in my world.

Do they in yours?

I actually work seven days each week, in order to have what I define as balance.

Balance, is individually interpreted by people.  There isn’t one way to get it.

Just like there isn’t one way to invest money, get in shape or start a business.

So for me, balance is about feeling a sense of decent control over my obligations.

The key here is that the goal is not complete control, but an overall feeling of decent control.

At work or at home, there is a ton of responsibility.  Many tasks and deliverables in both places.

Balance helps me feel that I’m in decent (never perfect, and rarely even excellent) control of balancing life’s four big boxes.

I’ll have to tell you later about life’s four big boxes.

So for now, carpe diem, and Happy Saturday!  jeff noel  🙂

Two Choices?

Two choices everyday?

To do, or not to do.

Or in this particular example, to write or not to write.

This is my fifth post today.   Rather than not write, I decided to write this.

The right column can lead you to the other  four posts.  They’re all decent perspectives on a variety of important life themes.

It’s your choice.  To click, or not to click.  Make it a great day and carpe diem, jeff  🙂
