Awesome Friday

It was an awesome Friday.  Don’t have time right now to tell the whole story, but for me to say it was awesome is pretty significant in my mind.

But then again, I’m thought of by many as “crazy”, the way many thought Walt Disney was “crazy”, or Barack Obama is crazy.

One of the things that was significant today was the tremendous validation for my efforts to make the world a better place.

What a blast. Making these jeff noel You Tube videos.  This one is border line blooper.  But then again, I had so much fun this morning at physical therapy – the reason I was at Florida Hospital Celebration Health – that I’m totally ok with it.

It beats not making these You Tube videos and wondering what it must take to do them.   Ya with me?

It’s Friday night as I post this.  Carpe PM, jeff noel  🙂

Happy Anniversary

Happy Anniversary!

My wife and I are celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary today.

We met in a job interview 30 years ago.

She interviewed me for a Resident Assistant at West Chester University in 1979.

I got the job.

Best thing that ever happened to me.  It changed the course of my life and gave me the courage to become a better person.

Thank you, Cheryl.

I love you.

PS.  If you are reading this and you think this is sappy, oh well.  Sorry.  Hope you’ll still come back.

Make it a great day, because if you don’t, who will?  If not today, when?

42 Days

June 24 means 42 days.  It almost looks dyslexic.

Forty-two days until the prelims at the 2009 Master’s Track & Field World Championships.

Normally, this would mean nothing to me.

This year is different.

I’ll be running in them.  Seriously.

My goal is to be in the worst lane, Lane 8.

Visit www.Lane8.org to see why.

Got Soul?

Got soul?

Yesterday morning, at Church, I wrote down two things our Deacon said:

  1. What gift am I giving my children?
  2. Deep and unspeakable suffering.

These two groups of words resonated with me.  And while I can’t put my finger on it at the moment, I am processing it and will figure out if it’s something I can write about.

Have  GREAT Monday.  Carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂

jeff noel on Hard Work

Orlando’s jeff noel speaks briefly on hard work in this jeff noel You Tube video.

Hard work is the key, in my opinion. Making choices, staying focused and looking ahead are also key ingredients in the recipe for success.

Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

PS.  Forgot to mention, having fun is real important too.   Did you catch the mini-blooper at the end?  🙂  🙂
