Awesome Is As Awesome Does

Go Daddy web hosting and their customer service is world class. Period.

How do I know?

Have been a Go Daddy customer for two years now.  Every single time I call Go Daddy support, the experience simply blows me away.

Why?

Because they do the routine, yet important things really, really well.  And they do it with world class consistency.

It happened again last night. Thank you Jason (may or may not be real name) for taking care of my Go Daddy Web Analytics set up.  When I came home last night, it was like being a kid in a candy store.  Go Daddy ROCKS.

When’s Your Funeral?

Morbid thought or inspirational thought?

Inspirational thought!

Why?

Because when we realize that tomorrow is not guaranteed, perhaps we will put more focus on today.

Looks good on paper, but is incredibly elusive.  The whole “live in the moment” thing is very challenging to do.

Have you ever tried it?  I mean, day after day, after day.  Month after month, after month….

My Friend Said This

“To know is to do.  To know and not do, is to not yet know”. —  jeff’s friend

Said another way:  “Common sense needs to be common practice”. – jeff noel

Otherwise, it’s like we don’t even know what common sense is.

Yes, this is painful to admit.  Yes, it’s not easy to apply common sense. Yes, our lives will become better (not perfect) if we apply more common sense to our lives.  Yes, it’s completely up to us. Always has been.  Always will be.  Carpe diem!

Shortcuts

We all look for shortcuts in our day to day living.  Shortcuts at home. Shortcuts at work.  Shortcuts while driving.

Why?

Because shortcuts save time.  And sometimes, money.  Who doesn’t want that?

Even bloggers look for shortcuts.  Like writing a brief post about shortcuts, to save time.  🙂

Unknown Fact of Little Interest?

Honeymoon 1984
Honeymoon 1984

Married in June 1983, we finally took our honeymoon in August 1984. We rode our bicycles from the Pacific Ocean to Grand Coulee Dam.

Two main portions of the trip:

  1. Touring the San Juan Islands of Puget Sound
  2. Traveling along the North Cascades Highway

It was the trip of a lifetime.  Not your typical honeymoon, eh?

We traveled 600 miles in 17 days, and spent less than $200.

Happy Saturday everyone.
