Running for Mayor?

Politics.

Can’t live with ’em, can’t live without ’em.

So, I’ve decided to become part of the solution rather than part of the problem.

I’m runnin’ for Mayor!

Yep!

Mayor of Margaritaville!

Gotta go for now.  Hitting the campaign trail, but first, breakfast – it’s the most important meal of the day, eh?

Carpe diem, my potential Parrothead friends, jeff noel  🙂

Seriously?

Blown away?  Seriously?

Yep!

Why?

Excellent question grasshopper.

Please visit today’s post at Lane 8.org to find out why.

I really appreciate you visiting  jeff noel.com and any of the other blogs I post daily.

It is my sincere intent to help make the world a better place before my time here is up.

Carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂

PS.  I work desperately hard to practice what I preach.  Desperately hard.

PSS.  The other reason I’m blown away is that Friday’s web site statistics produced a record setting day for web site traffic at www.MidLifeCelebration.com .  I don’t want to reveal it at this time because it will quite possibly sound like I’m bragging.

June 1 with Chuck & jeff

Yo!  I said yesterday that I would only be posting here periodically, rather than daily, like I’ve been doing.

Well guess what?  I couldn’t resist posting this video of my friend Chuck and me.  We are like two 12-year olds, enamoured with technology and the power of the Internet.

On Saturday, we gathered at another friend’s house to celebrate a ninth birthday.  While our son’s were in the pool, we spent a little time inspiring and helping each other.

Check it out:

Make it a great day.  Heck, make it a great week.  Happy Monday everyone and carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

Did I mention this before?

Did I mention I bought a MacBook last week?

Did I mention how much I love the challenge of learning a completely different way of using a laptop?

And did I mention I have an eight-year old?

All this means is that it’s a great time to be alive.

I walked to Niagara Falls late yesterday afternoon and watched, with a deep reverence for the power of the water, and an even deeper reverence for the power of the Creator.

If I didn’t mention any of this before, good.  If I did, never mind.

Carpe diem, jeff 🙂

This is a followup to last night’s post on Apple versus Microsoft.

I LOVE my Toshiba laptop and my Internet connection.  It works fast, is very reliable, and I am very good at it.

What intrigues me about Apple?

It’s understated simplicity.

It’s vision to compete, even though the market clearly shows it as the underdog.

Humans don’t like change.  Apple IS change.  The iPhone IS change.

Bob Dylan once said, “He who is not busy being born, is busy dying”.

Who is changing faster, better?   Microsoft or Apple?

May I challenge you to evaluate your attitude toward change and give yourself an honest grade?

Make today a GREAT day to consider change as a theme and act.  Because if you don’t, who will?  If not today, when?  Carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂
