Can’t Win ‘Em All

But you can try.  Not every post I write is gonna make your day.  Yet I write with that intent.

Walt Disney said, “Aim for perfection, settle for excellence”.

Vince Lombardi said, “In chasing perfection, we will catch excellence”.

jeff noel said, “If your goal isn’t impossible, you’re not reaching high enough”.

Better to try and fail, than not try at all.  Being transparent on the Internet is a gutsy thing to do.  Don’t believe it, you try.   For those who get this and still follow, thank you.

For those critics out there, thank you.  For the cynic, well, I forgive you. Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

What’s The Point?

Five blogs daily.  Every single day.  Seven days a week.  Week after week. Month after month.

Maybe there’s something wrong with me.  Maybe there’s not.

“Aren’t you cutting into your Family time”? Maybe.

Maybe not.  When you’re highly motivated, creative and courageous, what can stop you from chasing your dreams.

Wanna know a little known fact?  After Q1, realized that I wasn’t doing what was promised – write for our son.

Told my son, “You want to be a good reader, read a lot.  Want to be a good runner, run a lot.  Want to be a good writer, write a lot”. This led to a 100 day challenge….

When You Least Expect It, What Happens?

Depends.  Sometimes good things, sometimes bad and sometimes, great things happen.

  • An influential person labels you exceptional
  • An Int’l organization seeking World solutions, asks for a favor
  • Your website hits significantly break several traffic records
  • Your child, with his incurable disease, is healthy today
  • You start to see greater numbers recommending your sites

To whom much has been given, much will be required.  I get that. It scares me a little.  But faith has always seen me through.

Thank you World.  Every day, I work hard to make a difference.  Count on me to seize today, jeff noel 🙂

Are You “On Purpose”?

The reason I write five blogs (every single day) is because I believe life offers us four big choices.

So, there’s a blog for each of life’s big choices, plus this one.

This blog serves as an Internet storefront, a warehouse, a gathering spot, headquarters, corporate, etc.

Yesterday, I was asked if I’m spread too thin.  Heck yes.  Most people who are employed are spread incredibly thin.

I’m thankful for the thinness.  Hope it doesn’t last forever though. There are too many people who need jobs.

And when you are writing for your young son to discern life’s four big choices, the writing comes pretty easy.

Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

As Promised…

The three things I did Thursday that scared me:

  1. Asked someone to help me write my first book
  2. Made a business proposal to an unlikely candidate
  3. Made a second business proposal to a likely candidate

Guess what?  It feels great!

Even if I fail, I succeed.

If you don’t understand this concept, you may want to invest in figuring it out.

It’s one of the most powerful and liberating truths life has to offer you.

Simply put:

“Nothing ventured. Nothing gained”.

If not today, when?  Carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂
