The two key questions

The two key questions:

  1. How bad do you want the thing?
  2. Why?

These two questions will allow you to figure out what you’ll need to start, stop, and/or continue.

Once your “start, stop, continue” items are sorted out, your motivation to stay focused and disciplined is your secret sauce.

Everyday dwelling

We think, we move, we feel, we contribute, we dwell.

Everyday prioritizing accumulates into a life.

Reusing this pic. Writing things down these days is simply snapping a pic.

Yesterday three general, stereotypical places in life surfaced:

  1. Victim
  2. Ordinary
  3. Vibrancy

For optimum results, get and stay vibrant in all five of life’s big choices.

Anything less than all five will create pain points in the other four. While being vibrant in four out of five is very good (a solid B-grade at 80%), the Magic doesn’t happen until an A+ grade at 100% is achieved and maintained.

Life is hard no matter your grade.

The “hard” varies for each person, each grade.

If it’s gonna be hard, my logic is pick the good hard.

Live

Child in a big yard behind a house
Maybe 2004-ish. First photo with our new Sony Cyber-shot pocket camera. A lifetime with 35mm SLR cameras, done. Never looked back. Never regretted. It unknowingly prepared us for the iPhone.

You can watch your life. You can participate in your life. You can lead your life.

All three options are symbolically different.

Victim. Ordinary. Vibrancy.

The truth hurts. The truth frees.

Pain or freedom?

Choosing is easy in theory.

Choosing is also easy in reality.

What?

If you think the price of discipline is high, wait until you get the bill for regret.

Bonus, a powerful music video.

Yes or no priorities

Disney podcast website
Serendipitous that it is exactly 100 episodes. Interesting to know the first 22 episodes from Season 1 and 2 are simply practice episodes.

Yes or no priorities.

What the heck?

Yes you have prioritized priorities.

No you do not have prioritized priorities.

It’s either a heck yes, or it’s a no.

Once again, thank you for saying heck yes to this.

It makes perfect sense that an intelligent person sees this statement as obviously incorrect: “Living without prioritized priorities is good for you long-term.”
