Ever heard the phrase, “Don’t die with a book in you”?
Have you ever dreamt of writing a book?
It’s way more work than people think. And yet, it’s way less work than people think. A paradox that only someone who’s done it can know.
Found a LinkedIn connection, Susan Harrow, who blogs about these types of things too. Wanted to share her perspective with you.
Click here to read Susan Harrow’s article, “Write a Book Fast and Earn Big Money in the Process”. It’s a bit on the salesy-side, but offers a perspective different from mine.
PS. Do you still remember the important message from the top?
(Don’t die with a book in you)
One more thing, if you’ve never written a book before, and think you can in 90 days and make a ton of money, God Bless you. Odds are, you will never get started, and if you do get started, you’ll never finish.
This is simply the way life works. If you disagree with this, please feel free to send a copy of your first book by May 1, 2010, and then I’ll confess to being a liar. Deal?

How many people want to write a book?
How many believe they can write a book?
How many actually do?
Two days ago, I said to my wife, “You know, depending on your definition of a book, I’ve already written five.”
And you know what Cheryl said? And by the way, this is one of the million things that I love about Cheryl, because she’s so smart, she said, “I know.”
Tomorrow, I’ll share a free link to Roger Parker’s checklist for getting a book published. That is, unless you have no story to tell. But I sincerely doubt that.
Everyone has a story to tell.
Don’t die with a book in you.
Everything can’t be important. Period. It can’t be.
What’s a person to do? I mean, to sort through it all and come out with a prioritized list?
Here’s what I did:
While it ain’t perfect, it is light years ahead of my old daily structure. Life is a journey.

“It’s not the material things in life that are important”. Most of us have heard this so many times we’ve lost track, right?
If we know this to be true, that material things aren’t the important thing, why do we work so hard to get so much stuff? That’s what I want to know.
I’d like to take a risk and ask you readers to leave a comment with your take on this human dilemma. Happy Halloween.
