Adam Lambert American Idol

Good Wednesday morning.  After last night’s competition, I believe Adam Lambert will be the next American Idol.

Kris Allen came out exceptionally well in the first round.  Hence my post last night.

Many, myself included,  have thought all along that Adam Lambert would be crowned the next American Idol.

Rather than roll over and accept defeat, Kris Allen performed his best song of the entire season, if you ask me.

However, Adam’s consistency throughout the entire competition has been remarkable.

Kris Allen’s growth, and confidence, has been equally remarkable – which is why he was on the show last night.

Good day everyone and drum roll please………..

Orlando Magic Were Magical

The Orlando Magic basketball team was magical last night, in Boston.

They played game seven against the defending NBA Champions, the Boston Celtics, in Boston.  A huge disadvantage for the Magic.

I have to admit that I no longer watch professional sports.

However, I do love watching the Olympics, as well as championship games in any sport.  It’s when it’s all on the line that I get interested.

Anyway, here’s the this morning – Can You Believe It – a followup to last night’s post.

Make it a great Monday, a great week and a great May.  Because if you don’t, who will?  If not now, when?  Carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂

Defending NBA Champs?

Defending NBA Champs, the Boston Celtics are currently behind the Orlando Magic by 19 points.

When I wake up tomorrow morning, I wonder what the headline will read.

Then again, I may just stay up for a little while longer so I won’t have to wait.

Being from Orlando, and working for Disney World, it’s only natural that I’m a MAGIC fan!

Either the Magic will pull off an upset and advance to the semi finals, or the Celtics will pull off a major comeback and continue their bid to defend their NBA Championship.

Either way, the Celtics need some real Magic.  Good night.  jeff  🙂

What a GREAT Day!

Today was an awesome day.

  • Relatively pain-free run.   See Lane 8 for details on the story.
  • Great Homily at Church
  • Great connections with special people at Church
  • Swimming, Lunch & Nap with my son this afternoon
  • Cub Scout Awards Banquet & our son received his Wolf Cub Badge
  • My wife totally added a woman’s touch to the Banquet decorations/logistics
  • My son & I spoke with my Mom about the awards he received

Not all days have so many obvious blessings that can be recounted.  However, today was that kind of day.

They don’t come as often as any of us would like.

And yet, I’ll take them whenever they come, even if they’re few and far between.  Signing off at 9PM.  Carpe PM, jeff noel  🙂

jeff noel – World Class Wednesday?

jeff noel – World Class Wednesday?

OK, so I missed posting yesterday. Sorry.

It actually felt good to skip a day.

Trust me though, it wasn’t intentional.

But once I realized it was going to happen, I found that letting go of the expectation, even for just one day, felt healthy.

If you’re new to jeff noel.com blog, here’s the deal. I post five blogs every single day.

Classic over-achiever.

Or said another way, building a foundation, a base.

In running, we call it conditioning. Early season workouts focus on building a great cardiovascular system as well as strength training and flexibility training.

All three combine to position the runner for the racing season, when quantity gives way to quality.

So for now, it’s about quantity. It’s about building a strong base, or foundation.

Ya with me?

Classic over-achiever? Maybe. Maybe not.

Perhaps, I’m just a guy focused on excellence. Remember what I told you Tiger Woods told me?

He simply said, “Out work ’em”, when I asked him for the most important piece of advice for anyone wishing to become world-class.

So, today, will you run with the pack, get left behind, or clearly outdistance your competition?

The choice is yours. Always is. Always will be. Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂
