Attention to detail and a ton of fun. With all the serious effort to pull off a wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime event, this will be my contribution.
There are events Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Can’t wait.
Always dreamed of a High School reunion that wasn’t stereotypically loud, drunk, and forgetful.
Ps. Thank you Cheryl, Mark, and Joanne.

Creativity: How can i (we) pause while walking 8-ish miles per day and enjoy an affordable power breakfast, and then finish the daily walk. Note: There are two breakfast places near us. This is one of them, this past Friday (48 hours ago).
Now that you’ve officially retired, will your priorities change?
Of course.
Why?
No more working in exchange for financial gain.
What do i think will be the biggest change or adjustment?
Candidly, and literally immediately, the thought of rarely (perhaps never) using LinkedIn is the first thing that comes to mind.
All the posturing, FOMO, selling, bragging, “hey look what I’m doing”…
Mental, spiritual, career freedom.
After that, creative brainstorming on how to capture my life’s professional wisdom in forms that benefit our Son.
And after that (most likely simultaneously), figuring out how to scale and sustain an adventurous, and grateful, way to enjoy life’s sunset phase.

Photo: A few minutes before i started my keynote. She’s in the very back row of tables, next to the exit doors. Heidi invited me to meet with her and her colleague-executive in the Hilton lobby to celebrate a great day. Got to meet her and her husband last night at their Company’s Suite in the Arena. Omaha played San Diego in women’s Pro Volleyball. Omaha won the National Championship in 2024’s inaugural season.
Four slides in we all took selfies to “mark the moment”.
At this point, the game ain’t over. Photo: Hilton lobby.
My final slide says…
DO SOMETHING GREAT
You should never share important, insightful info and not challenge the others to do what the final slide says.

11:00 AM. Scouting out the “terrain” before tomorrow’s “Super Bowl”.
What’s the bottomline goal when i deliver a Disney Customer Service Keynote speech?
Excellence.
Excellence from me to the audience.
Excellence from the audience to themselves.
Excellence from themselves to the people they serve.
