Personally curious

woman on ground next to two touring bicycles
Had a premonition as a 14-year old that i’d like to ride a bicycle across our Country. This is the first 15 minutes into our honeymoon bicycle adventure across Washington State. The water here is part of Puget Sound.

Never lose your childlike curiosity at home.

What if…?

Yes, and…?

Note: While i didn’t know it until many years later, regret sucks. i knew it subconsciously, but was too young inexperienced to articulate it.

Everyone is in responsible for curiosity and creativity.

i have no special talents.

Like children, who can easily and instantaneously dream stuff up, i seem to have never lost that trait.

The upside is obvious, but rare.

The downside is heartbreaking and sounds like, “Quit acting like a child.”

“Be yourself.  Everyone else is taken.”Life Is Good slogan

I used to look for sea shells on Sanibel Island, Florida.  You know the ones – the perfect shape and color.  The ones that looked like they came from the sea shell store.

Not any more.

Now, I look for ones that are unique and special – broken and beautiful.

Just like us humans.

Broken and beautiful.

Like Tiger Woods.
