Final 24 hours in Australia, home

Kangaroo scat
In the wild, it’s helpful to be able to read animal scat. Why? It alerts you of who may be nearby or ahead of you.
Clouds
In the wild, it’s helpful to be able to read the sky. Why? It alerts you to what weather you can expect. Let’s assume no internet weather updates. Photo: Our balcony last night.

Reflecting on the past three weeks and the next 24 hours, this is a dominating thought about home life….

Prioritization takes focus and discipline.

Prioritization requires kindness, motivation, patience, and courage.

Priorities without kindness, motivation, patience, and courage is synonymous with sailing a ship without a rudder.

Prioritizing your priorities sets you free from imbalance.

To have focus and discipline is to have personal vibrancy Magic.

Note: We leave Mooloolaba an hour before sunrise tomorrow. Brisbane International Airport is about an hour drive south.

Reusing this pic. Writing things down these days is simply snapping a pic.

Yesterday three general, stereotypical places in life surfaced:

  1. Victim
  2. Ordinary
  3. Vibrancy

For optimum results, get and stay vibrant in all five of life’s big choices.

Anything less than all five will create pain points in the other four. While being vibrant in four out of five is very good (a solid B-grade at 80%), the Magic doesn’t happen until an A+ grade at 100% is achieved and maintained.

Life is hard no matter your grade.

The “hard” varies for each person, each grade.

If it’s gonna be hard, my logic is pick the good hard.

Just watch

7-second video: Avid photographer, videographer – many people are. Also a news reporter? Any of us, potentially. Avid exerciser too? Any of us, potentially. Doing pull-ups and such when i noticed this. Bonus insight: Nature is beautiful and brutal.

Don’t listen.

Watch.

The story never lies.

What you do thunders so loudly we can’t hear what you say.

Totally get that anyone’s behaviors may seem to contradict what comes out of their mouth (or onto the page). It is the same with me, with you, with everyone.

Strive diligently to be remarkably kind.

Compromise is rare (and a blessing)

text thread screen shot
Sometimes while biking or running, i simply text myself to remember the idea. It will disappear if it doesn’t get “written down”. And sometimes, mysteriously, the text duplicates itself at will.

Compromise is rare (and a blessing).

Compromise is literally the only thing that deescalates differences of opinion.

In a world craving an apology, no one wants to go first.

Go first.

Another harsh reality, some people will never go first. Ever.

Pray for them.

Regret is a late bloomer

disney poster with Goofy
Employee of the month at home, month after month?

You get one life.

You spend your whole life living it.

Please know…

Regret is a late bloomer.

Do not waste your life being disorganized.

Achieve personal vibrancy simply by being organized enough to be able to prioritize your priorities.

Clarity is power.

Big time regret patiently waits until you feel like you can never change.
