What does ‘off the map’ mean?

It means you are stepping back to a time when our ancestors walked past the village line and ventured out into the unknown.

It means you could die, or at the very least severely and permanently injure yourself. Depending how ‘deep in’ you are, no one may know for a few days.

During the height of Covid-19’s stay at home order, Florida allowed outside exercise. Bicycling at WDW was perfect, logging 30 miles per day.

What does it mean when someone says, I’ve gone country?
