Four people at a table
Dinner in “Manhattan”. Our long-time friend and Disney colleague Djuan, and our new friend Matthew, Ops manager at two Disneyland Paris Hotels.

Today has been spectacular.

Cold morning like yesterday morning. But today i dressed more proactively, including gloves.

Got more in tune with Disney Adventure World (Disneyland Paris’ second theme park).

Never made it to Disneyland Paris Park. No need. Not today.

Tomorrow we will do early entry and a beeline to Arendell.

Senior couple
At the 400pm Lion King show. Cheryl saw it six months ago. She was downplaying its excellence.

i gave the Lion King Cast two standing ovations. Once immediately before they took a bow. The second when it was now or never timing, after their collective bow. Turning around from the third row, less than a handful stood.

Live and let live. To each their own.

From our Hotel room.

We talked about not going back in to Paris.

Our original vision was to revisit Paris one or two days while we stay at Newport Bay Hotel.

Today’s Park experience has us wanting to stay put in Disneyland Paris (DLP). Didn’t see that coming. Plus, time will tell if we commit 100% to DLP.

Three senior women at a party
Surprised all three with a special moment and memento.
8-second video: Serendipity dialed me in at exactly the right time. The Eiffel Tower is lit up every night, but it only sparkles the first five minutes of each hour and we happened to catch it in the middle of a dance party.
Four senior women at a party
Still daylight. Charmaine is from Perth.

We laughed consistently all day, everyday.

Time well spent.

card clue game
Our Romanian activities director created this card game. We played a few cards. It didn’t go viral, but was still fun. ‘Buna’ is Romanian for hello.

To say today was amazingly ordinary, and amazingly extraordinary, is true.
