jeff noel Recommends Adventures With Ben

jeff noel Recommends Adventures With Ben. If you love travel and adventure.

My good friend, Ben Reed, has a travel website chock full of great travel and adventure tips, all from his personal experience around our globe.

While many people I know have acumen there are only a few I know who demonstrate, in my opinion, a higher level of passion for certain things.

Ben has passion for travel and adventure, and for sharing his travel knowledge.

While many people love to travel, or love to think about travel and adventure, Ben just simply goes out and does it.

Follow him on Twitter if you’d like.

Ben’s personal travel tips recently helped my own visits to Chicago and Finland last month.

He’s very, very good at what he does and he inspires me with his passion to experience all life has to offer.  Who doesn’t want that? Carpe diem, jeff noel  🙂

Great Conversation?

What makes a conversation great?  Obviously, it depends.

Yesterday, had a great conversation with a very special and  very gifted person.  A person who is both mentor and mentee.  A mutual admiration and respect, so to speak.

In asking him if I am:

  • Too pushy
  • Perfectly pushy
  • Not pushy enough

He said, “Not pushy enough”.  Hmmmm……

This website is what I refer to as “the warehouse”.  A sort of Internet storefront.  It does not have one particular theme or focus like the other four:

  1. MIND:     www.MidLifeCelebration.com
  2. BODY:     www.Lane8.org
  3. SPIRIT:    www.jeffnoel.org
  4. MONEY:  www.junglejeff.net

Five per day.  Every day.  Excessive?  No one will label me lazy, that’s for sure.

Would it be considered too pushy or just right, if I said anyone who doesn’t have a blog is lazy? You have a cell phone, a computer and an Internet connection, right? 🙂

An Apple A Day, blah, blah, blah….

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes – the ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules and they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing that you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things.” – Apple Computer ad, 1997

I feel like I’m lookin’ in the mirror as I read that.

CMA On ABC

CMA on ABC last night. CMA Music Festival was broadcast on ABC television last night.  I didn’t watch it.  Too busy.

However, coincidentally, I got out my old portable CD player to listen to one of my favorite country songs, “Big Time Dreamer” from Ty Hearndon’s 1998 “Big Hopes” CD.

My son asked if he could listen to a song.  Talk about timing!  Here’s the chorus:

“I’m the son of a big time dreamer that’s where I get my dreamin from. Daddy was a firm believer in the power of love”.

And if that weren’t enough, he listened to one more, “Tears In God’s Eyes“.

It’s obvious that most are  insanely busy, with little time to read and view everything posted here.  But try to imagine this.  Not only do I read it and view it, but also research, think and post it.

Five blogs per day, everyday.  I could never expect you to keep up with it all, unless I was a big time dreamer.

Humble Servant

Humble Servant.

These two words resonant.

Hard to explain why.

If there were two words, and only two words, that resonated with you, what would they be?

Hoping to someday soon be a humble servant.  Carpe diem,   jeff noel 🙂
