You Don’t Owe Me Anything

But it would be a nice gesture, if you would consider voting for Ben and Brian.

If you want to help two twenty-something adventurers win a trip to Thailand, click here.

If Ben and Brian win, they will blog about their adventures.  Ben is passionate about travel and adventure like few people I’ve seen in my 50 years.

Up front, you will need to register – it’s quick and easy.  Ben & Brian are vying for the Pattaya, Thailand trip.

You can vote once each day, and there is only one week left.  Ben and Brian are currently trailing, but together, we can fix that.  What goes around comes around.  Doing good deeds for random strangers may lead to the favor being returned to you someday.

Finally

Finally.  I’ve gotten to the fifth of five blogs this morning.  Having some challenges revving up the writing engine.

This rarely happens.  I knew it would come.  Just didn’t know when.  It took longer than expected.  Good thing, I suppose.

Big questions though:

  • “How long will it last”?
  • “When will it return”?

No worries however.  Just gonna plow through it and try not to worry about it.  It’s a natural part of the “writer’s cycle” – sort of like the seasons on Earth.  Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.

Each season has a purpose.  Each one ends and another begins.  It’s natural. It’s okay. Carpe diem everyone.

How Cold Is It?

Freezing Cold

Weather.com says the current Anchorage, Alaska temp is  (4AM) 19 degrees, but the official “feels like” temp is 12 degrees.

Hope your day is full of warmth, no matter the outside temperature.  Carpe diem.

Moose on the Loose?

Alaskan Moose on the Loose?

Had just pulled away from taking a photo at the Anchorage International Airport, when traffic started to slow and then stop. Here’s what happened.

My reaction is actually kinda funny – typical of a person who lives in a land surrounded by sunshine, Disney and palm trees:

Blank Sheet of Paper

This can be scary, a blank sheet of paper. Not as scary as last night’s traditional “ghost and goblin” Halloween traditions.  But scary nonetheless.

In today’s world, it’s more like a white (blank) page on a blog.

The pressure of the clock.  The fifth of five daily blogs.  The thought of writing something just to write to fill up the space.

Scary?

Yes, and sometimes, necessary.  Carpe diem.
