Whenever I don’t feel inspired

West still, zooming in.

Sitting to catch our breath as it was constantly being taken away.

Staying 25 yards away is the rule.

In a car the rules are different. They can walk right past you.

Only the inspired inspire. Whenever I don’t feel inspired – which is insanely rare these days – i simply tell myself to figure it out, quickly.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

Can The Simplest, Most Unexpected Events Inspire Us?

Remember Pixar’s very first animated cartoon. A far cry from Toy Story.

On more than one occasion, but not every single episode, ABC’s Shark Tank has profoundly, and simply, inspired me. Spent hours yesterday thinking and tweaking blogs and messages.

Insight: Our grand vision(s) must sometimes take a back seat while we find ways to survive make it first. If we don’t make it (succeed financially) first, we will never move to mastery, nor making a difference.

9 Blogging Milestones I Never Saw Coming

One day, years from now, this will look similar to yesterday's blog photo.

Nine blogging milestones I never saw coming:

  1. The simple act of daily blogging (a goal but perhaps unachievable).
  2. Writing five daily blogs instead of one (like normal people).
  3. Reaching the 100-day challenge goal to write all five daily blogs.
  4. Adding a photo with each post (humans are, after all, very visual).
  5. Adding easy, one-click hyperlinks on every post (to go to next blog).
  6. Shortening each post’s length (as a former boss said, “short & pithy”).
  7. Reaching the 3,000th post (Halloween 2010, scary).
  8. Reaching the 5,000th post (11.11.11).
  9. Writing 90-days ahead (Jan. 2012).

Over And Over And Over And…

Does Common Sense Have a Glass Ceiling?
Does Common Sense Have a Glass Ceiling?

Never get bored with the basics.

Common sense is the secret.

The reason people don’t embrace common sense, and don’t practice common sense is simple.

If it’s too simple, it can’t work.

This is why you hear me say the same thing on these five blogs.

Over and over and over and…..
