Oh Say Can You Ski…

…by the dawn’s early light.

Cut. Wait a minute. What are you talking about?  Is this the National anthem or the  Ski Jump Capital of the world.

I’m guessing Ski Jump capital .  Seriously.  Way seriously.

Yesterday was an “off day” at World’s, meaning no competitions were held. So, I made the most of it.  Check it out:

Know What All These Blogs Have in Common?

What do Lane 8.org, Mid Life Celebration.com, jungle jeff.net, jeff noel.org all have one thing in common?

Together, they form the foundation for the story I’m writing.

Similarly to the way Randy Pausch wrote, The Last Lecture , for his young children. I am writing for our son.

And no story is complete, in my opinion, without pictures:

What a GREAT day it is!

We have all heard that every day is a gift. If you think about it, it’s one of life’s great truths.

It’s completely humbling to be in Finland, to have a Family that loves and supports me, and to simply take it all in. There is so much here that is the same, and so much that is different.

Here are some photos from yesterday’s gift:

Finland Photos

Finland photos. Trying this again. If you’re new here, welcome. If you’re a regular, thanks for coming back.

You may already know this.  You can click on each photo to enlarge and read a brief description not shown on this page.

Thank you for your patience. I may open a Flickr account to make posting photos easier. I post them on Facebook for Family & Friends, but for the world’s audience, that isn’t practical.
Make it a GREAT day.  It’s up to you.  Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

IT, where art thou?

Ok, I’m an army of one, seven hours from home. Unable to upload You Tube video clips.

So, thought I’d try photos.   As you can see here, there’s a duplicate set posted here in error.  It’s just easier at this point to not fix it.  After posting this, I’ll keep trying.  Just want to get something visual accomplished.  OK?  Good.

In case you’ve never been to www.Lane8.org , you should go there.  These photos will make more sense. Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂
