A new slogan — Yesterday driving to the High School meeting, i thought, “What if i carried a Disney Autograph book to client meetings and get the “VIP’s” to sign their autograph for me?

Even yourself as you’re doing pushups at the gym or driving in your car to a routine meeting.

So i coined the phrase Happy New Day (like Happy New Year) at the gym yesterday.

i like it.

Has a nice ring to it.

Dear Son, you’re 16.

What you are about to read is not me talking to you, it’s me (at 58) talking to a 16-year old me.

Here’s what i’d tell my 16-year old self today.

“You are so inexperienced it’s not even funny. You think you have much of life figured out – you know, how your life will unfold and so on. Not to make you feel bad jeff, but you will literally be wrong, long term, on all the 16-year old beliefs you think are solid right now.”
