i’m giving you money, home

This photo is from 2013, on the job, sharing world-class Disney Institute business insights. Sitting in the back of the classroom while my colleague presents.

i’m giving you money.

Please don’t be greedy.

Seriously.

Don’t.

But do be insanely grateful that you’ve discovered the interconnectedness between life’s five big choices.

Improve one orchard, the other four orchards improve.

Neglect one orchard, the other four orchards suffer.

Improve two, wow!

Neglect two, uh-oh.

It’s literally impossible for me to not try to help someone – to gift them with life insight – .think .differently

Be the person, home

The greatest reward in life is teaching yourself how to live vibrantly.

And in doing that, you teach your family.

A parent’s two jobs are to protect and to teach.

To teach is to learn twice.

Be the person that encourages others to .think .differently about personal vibrancy.

These rare people are important.

Hope you enjoy unwrapping this glorious gift.

We teach without a plan

Another version of the Castle turret. Created a bunch of these to help a graphic designer see what i was saying.

We teach without a plan.

How?

We teach with our behaviors.

Our behavioral habits demonstrate what we actually believe in.

The unspoken challenge (and unspoken opportunity) is to become self aware.

Self aware of our limited efforts to shed the unproductive things we do. The unproductive habits that develop over time because in the early stages, they brought us pleasure or eliminated pain. We welcomed that in those earlier days. And we will become what we repeatedly do, so those insidious mechanisms to create pleasure or to avoid pain are unconsciously who we are.

Everyone close to us knows it.

Our original plan to create pleasure or avoid pain are counter-productive to identifying our life’s priorities in a prioritized order.

A vicious cycle that quietly moves from generation to generation.

Ain’t it the truth?

14 years of prolific blogging

Everyone who discovers my 14 years of prolific, five daily, differently-themed blog posts writing habit has to be thinking, WTF (Wow, that’s funny).

Explaining how is challenging. Explaining why is easy.

dad

Why? i enjoy it and cannot help myself.

How? It’s a long and creative story. It will not make sense. Sometimes, even i don’t understand it.
