Disney Keynote Speech prep, home

Prioritizing my Disney Customer Service Keynote speech.

Prioritizing the content.

Prioritizing what to omit.

Prioritizing the content’s usefulness.

Prioritizing the stories.

Prioritizing the questions.

Prioritizing the activities.

Prioritizing the pace.

Prioritizing the humor.

Prioritizing my energy.

Should be an extraordinary 45 minutes.

Aiming for it to be the best customer service message of every audience member’s life.

Home taxes

Home taxes are paid as we engage in being intentional or haphazard, over-focused or scattered, disciplined or undisciplined, vibrant or unwell, you name it.

Some taxes make perfect sense.

Some taxes are expensive.

Some taxes seem unwarranted, even foolish.

It is up to me to choose my thoughts.

Then, from my choices, fair taxes and unfair taxes are levied.

It’s been a decades-long goal to get and stay in the intentional, focused and disciplined, prioritized priorities tax bracket.

Personal vibrancy has a ‘risk-tax’ that i gladly pay as if it’s a luxury tax.

CEO

Everything in your life is your responsibility.

Everything.

Hard stop.

Ps. Have fun becoming, and staying a great CEO (of You, Inc).

Do what you can

Facebook update screenshot
January 13, 2026. Two days ago. Cattle Baron Supper Club in Babb, Montana. Been a bunch of times. Devastating loss.

We can’t change what happened to the Cattle Baron Supper Club.

We can’t send enough money to lessen the pain from what happened to the Cattle Baron Supper Club.

But we can think of the family continuously, and pray for the family continuously, and give thanks continously that no humans were injured.

Even the smallest gestures trump an absent gesture.

Goodness, home

Water bottle and a red flower inside a mailbox
Cheryl returned from her routine morning walk with our neighbor and found a red hibiscus flower waiting for her. Cheryl always places her water bottle in our mailbox before she and Joanne start. Goodness is consistently (but not daily) going the extra inch like this.

Goodness at home is the same as goodness at work. Appreciation is always podium-level home goodness.
