Delta misses us sometimes. And maybe they think we’re cheating on them by regularly flying another airline.

How can we tell?

They confirmed the first class upgrade a few days ago. And last night, confirmed the final flight home is also a confirmed first class upgrade.

Only carrying a small backpack and an even smaller shoulder bag.

The message here is simple. Live like you mean it. Even when surrounded by an ordinary life filled with ordinary days.

Haven’t been on a plane in seven weeks. Normally in seven weeks, would have been on a plane between four to six of them.

Since retiring six weeks ago, Jack the Bear – who went on every Disney Institute trip – hasn’t been out much.

Just because we are local now, doesn’t mean we should just sit around.

Because it’s a first world challenge.

We weren’t evacuating because our city was being bombed.

Although some travelers appeared that stressed.

With decent personal organization we organize so there is nothing monumentally pressing at home on the day we travel.
