Driving away from “insanely beautiful”, don’t miss the opportunity to get farther out and look at “insanely beautiful” from a distance.
You are always close to us, even when you are far away. Never forget this. Even after we are gone.

Remember, you control your narrative, no one else. Talk about hitting the lottery! Congrats!!

i added 10 bricks to help secure the plastic cover. The crew could have done it. But they didn’t. The bricks where right there.

Orange County came out for the fifth time to get it right. Did you catch that, FIFTH time. All one (specifically me and Cheryl) can think about is why didn’t this happen the first time?

Today, Orange County is on their third try to get the concrete forms right for a 10:00 AM final approval to pour concrete. Home Depot is delivering 400 bags of mulch between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM today, and our upstairs air conditioner is not working, as of 10:00 PM last night. Additionally, Cheryl is at the hospital for half a day starting at 8:00 AM. All four events are happening simultaneously. Separately these are manageable. Combined simultaneously, they overwhelm. We’ve worked hard to never have more than one issue at a time. Our batting average is great. Today it’s not so great. And so it goes.
