Shedding’s superpower

Apple photos app screen shot
Upper left. There’s a six-digit number under the word “Library”. That number compiles everything past 2013.

Shedding creates fearful feelings.

Shedding is permission.

Shedding is freedom.

On the shedding menu are:

  1. Fear
  2. Regret
  3. Freedom
  4. Joy
  5. Vibrancy

This was a fun thread to write today.

Note: The new-age challenge with digital is that the storage space is invisible. There are 200,000 photos/videos on my phone. If they were physical photos and movie reels, i’d be a clear contender for hoarder of the year.

Organize digitally like you mean it

MacBook storage
Getting there. This is a huge improvement from having only 15GB available last week.

Organize digitally like you mean it.

Waiting for large files to transfer from one device so you can transfer them to another….time consuming, slow, and eventually, liberating.

Thank you iCloud

Apple Photos app
Apple makes products for people who want to change their world.

Yesterday, January 2, 2016, started organizing the 2016 files by removing some of the 2015 files. Take a folder out, put a new, empty folder in.

Each year, less and less paper is being kept.

Still keeping the financial records, but they are stored digitally now.

Paper is becoming less and less relevant.

Thank you iCloud.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.
