Walking up the steps after yesterday morning’s beach walk, this curious creature and i shared a few moments.
The intricate detail was at eye level because of the staircase, making it easy to be close.
The evening sky from the East carried patches of blue sky. The staircase.

Unassuming goodness.

Self-reflection time.

Perspective.

Organization.

Teamwork.

Vision.

Fun.

All of these are immeasurably valuable gifts.

Utterly unassuming.

Totally life changing.

For the past four Summers, i’ve  written from here.

 

Eighth Anniversary Eve is today.

Eight years ago, on the eve of April Fools Day 2009, i was about to launch something that i thought was destined to fail.

Write five daily, differently-themed blog posts for 100 consecutive days.

So tomorrow, guess what, the ninth year begins.

When you ask yourself, what have i done to inspire myself, do you have a handful of astonishing accomplishments?

Day after Christmas 2016 and the dawn of year 9.

As always, my writing resides in the present and the future.

Kinda like a pre-recorded television series.

Filmed before a live audience, but recorded and saved for showing later.

Christmas at my childhood home was quiet and relaxed yesterday.

As i reflect on that today, December 26, i’m excitedly aware that when this post goes live, there are six days until the ninth year of daily writing begins.

Absolutely mind-blowing.
