Ever write 50 blog posts in one day?

WordPress admin panel
This is from a single Blog website. There are five Blogs/websites. Yes, we are talking 25,000 blog posts, easy.

Ever write 50 blog posts in one day?

Yep.

When was the last time?

Two days ago.

Note: In the past three weeks the daily blog post writing average is roughly 15-30 posts per day.

After 13 years of prolific writing, still suffering (thriving) from writer’s flood.

Thank you prolific writing

Note to Walt Disney
Wrote this to Walt at a ceremonial legacy event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, inside One Man’s Dream Attraction.

Thank you prolific writing.

For what?

For the BFO’s.

For the aha’s.

For the fun.

For the transformation.

For the artistry.

For leaving a trail.

For the self-discovered insights.

For the two hours of writing this morning.

The only explanation is it must be love

sensationalized tabloid headline
Sensational headlines are great. i don’t have the desire to sensationalize blog headlines.

Some people start playing music because they love playing music – how it makes them feel when they do it.

And sometimes that love is traded in for something more.

Love is traded in for financial sustenance.

Making music for money.

Then things change.

You can no longer play what you love, you must play what the audience loves.

In the luckiest of cases, these match.

Usually they don’t.

Before i wrote this post, i was reflecting on how challenging it would be for anyone to read five daily, differently-themed posts, every single day for a decade.

And then i thought how challenging it must be to write five daily, differently-themed posts, every single day, for a decade.

The only explanation is it must be love.

Note: i love to write. Period.

Are you really the only one on the Internet doing it this way?

Disney Toy Soldier
Typical look.

This is the look (above) i get when people hear how i blog.

Are you really the only one on the Internet doing it this way?

Yes.

Five daily, differently themed blog posts on five separate, daisy-chained websites.

The Internet’s Only Five-A-Day Blogger.

Over 15,000 blog posts seems exaggerated

Prolific blogging
For the five main blogs, this was yesterday’s cumulative total.

Three days ago (April Fools Day 2017) i shared that 14.6k blog posts have been written.

What i didn’t factor in was the actual total for the five main sites. i calculated only the posts since April Fools Day 2009.

i also didn’t factor in the posts from other websites i own, and occasionally blog at.
