Downtown Orlando canvs is organized to help start ups succeed

Your dreams. The ones (or maybe only one) you dream about all the time. The one you are currently dusting off. The one you are actively chasing with all your heart and soul. That one. What’s next?

Organized enough to arrive early to a new type of meeting space in downtown Orlando. It’s called canvs.

An hour and a comfort zone

What is the meaning of life? My high school classmate’s (Lorie Sheffer) son Ian (and daughter-in-law Michelle) is featured as the moderator for a talk by Edward O. Wilson, who is a professor emeritus at Harvard University and the recipient of two Pulitzer Prizes. His many books include, “The Future of Life” and “The Social Conquest of Earth.”

The clip here is worth watching, but only if you have an hour and only if having your convictions seriously challenged is something you enjoy.

Let it ride or be intentional? You only retire once, so our experience is zero. Sure, we attend a few retirement parties, but we never paid attention to how they get planned and executed. Who determines the attendees, the menu, the venue, the vibe?

Just leave it all alone, or get involved?
