The art of struggling

Study something, teach it to a kid, learn, revise, repeat until it’s easy to teach a kid.

The art of struggling.

We all struggle.

From big goals.

From neglect.

From success.

From fear.

Should i continue writing five daily, differently-themed blog posts?

The frequency is a general indicator

Writing has happened every single day beginning April 1, 2009. Closing in on 11 consecutive years. i can write from anywhere at anytime. No Wi-Fi or cell signal is needed.

The frequency of a repetitive thought is a signal you need to pay attention to.

The thought can be about anything, good or not so good.

Been thinking for six months about not writing five daily, differently-themed blog posts.

To the impossible

Disney Keynote Speaker
Ty spent an hour in the office and took 100 photos, hoping to get three that would be headshot-worthy.

To the impossible.

You inspire me.

Dear impossible, thank you for your gift.

Hope to see you again tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow, April Fools Day, marks the 10th anniversary of that impossible goal with a self-imposed 100-day writer’s boot camp to write five daily, differently-themed blog posts – simply to gain writing practice for writing my first book.

What would you do?

When you Google “World record for most blog posts from a single author” will you see this photo?

What would you do?

Would you promote yourself or not?

Would your decision help your business or not?

Two steps forward, one step back

Two steps forward, one step back. Know why the photo above was used twice today? You got it, technical issues.

And did i mention (i know i did, just playin’) a decade of writing five daily, differently-themed blog posts concludes in seven days.

And unknowingly until about a month ago, this has me surpassing the posted world record for the number of single-author blog posts by more than 10%.
