How do i test the hypothesis?

Randomly found this 2017 photo of me blogging at Granite Park Chalet.

Being happy with what you have is a great place to be in life.

Pursuing what you want is the American Dream.

Can being happy with what you have prevent you from pursuing what you want?

For example…

i’m happy with spending two hours daily writing five daily, differently-themed blog posts.

As the years continue to pass, especially these years in my 60’s, the thought of having two hours of discretionary time — every day — invested in something different might be a wonderful, and healthy, adventure.

The only way to know is to experiment with the idea.

How do i test the hypothesis?

Does it even matter?

What if i’m wrong?

What if i’m right?

What if i wait too long to try?

What if i start now?

Bonus thoughts:

Never let your memories be bigger than your dreams.

How much is enough?

Be content with what you have and be at peace with who you are.

Luck favors the bold. Luck favors the prepared.

Fail like you mean it

My research statistically supports this image’s claim.

i’ve made more mistakes speaking than most people have given speeches.

dad

Started saying this “quote” after a decade of Disney Institute keynotes and multi-day sessions.

‘Tis true.

My early-years mistakes were from ignorance. My later-years mistakes where from peddle-to-the metal risk taking to become a remarkably more effective speaker and advisor.

If i wasn’t failing, i wasn’t growing.

If i wasn’t growing, i wasn’t satisfied, nor fulfilled, nor was i having fun.

Got risk?

The risk is the distance and the elevation gain may be too much.

Got risk-taking abilities, habits, and desire?

💯percent 🔥

Photos slow you down

Photos slow you down.

Writing is the easy part.

Searching for a decently-themed photo is time consuming. Both from selecting to the administrative blogging functions required to load and format each image.

Life is an HQ gamble

HQ houses life’s other four big choices: mind, body, spirit, and work.

Life is an HQ gamble.

Running your life like a business is a gamble.

So is running your life like it is not a business.

You are emboldened with confidence to achieve personal vibrancy – by over-focusing on life’s basics…

Or, you are looking for your favorite hole in the sand to put your head.
