Organization reaped some decent rewards yesterday.

  1. Intentionally walked away from a nicely priced, but too low, speaking opportunity.
  2. Contracted a project manager. A person i trust and a highly-esteemed former Disney Colleague.
  3. CEO gave verbal commitment for October engagement.

In all three, i was willing to walk away.

Being decently organized is really time consuming. It’s the price that must be paid to enjoy the freedom that you get after working so hard, for so long.

The peace of mind from knowing your life is hard, but that it’s not spinning out of control, is, well, worth it.

Why we should do something is almost always obvious.

Our ability to cloud our thinking with bullsh!t priorities and excuses overwhelms us to the point where we just don’t care enough anymore.

This feeds on itself and insidiously makes things worse.
