Memory a day, home

Sanibel sunrise
Sanibel sunrise years ago. Often, we are not positioned to see the sun directly. No worries. The sky is the academy award winning supporting actor.

Are you making a memory a day at home?

A memory a day with your priorities?

A memory a day for your final exit?

Well done, good and faithful servant.

Spring break, home

Eiffle Tower
First look…Spring 2012. In France for Disney Institute client engagement at Disneyland Paris.

Spring break is a priority for many college students.

Why?

A tradition.

An adventure.

A rite of passage.

All of that and more.

It has become a priority for me (and Cheryl) for the same three reasons:

  1. A retirement tradition.
  2. A retirement adventure.
  3. A retirement rite of passage.

Noteworthy is that college students recognize the fleeting opportunity and go after the opportunity with gusto.

Same here.

Even in retirement.

Especially in retirement.

Ps. We travel to Paris in four weeks for a two-week “Spring Break” adventure.

Another day in paradise, home

Another day in paradise at home.

Yes indeed.

How can it not be?

So exciting.

Never get bored with the basics.

A new basic has arrived in 2026.

That basic is simply to enjoy retirement in a purposeful, intentional, joyful way.

Paradise is as paradise does.

Showtime, home

Showtime.

Huh?

Showtime. It’s showtime.

Began saying it in my 40’s, shortly after starting a 25-year keynote speaking career at Disney Institute.

Now, 27 years later, still saying it.

The context now…

It’s time for the retirement show. The final season of life.

Prioritized priorities just reshuffled.

Exciting times.

Uncharted territory.

Adventure is out there.

Get moving.
