Nine clouds, ten clouds

Nine clouds, ten clouds?

How many did you notice?

Two days ago?

Last week?

How long do you watch them?

Why do you watch them?

Almost always, the clouds are moving.

i’ve found that random glances never reveal movement.

Stationary clouds are a fallacy.

Yet…

Stationary clouds, i think, are a stereotype that creates lifelong cloud-watching avoidance.

No two days worth of skies in our lifetime will be identical.

What a gift of never-ending variety, compliments of the Cosmos.

Ps. ‘Scuse me while i kiss the sky.

So outta place

Wild Lily blooms here every year. So outta place.
Another wild Lily.
So outta place. Playground trash.

So outta place.

When you change what you see, what you see changes.

Seeing trash consistently strewn on the playground is one thing. Seeing it as an opportunity to invisibly lend a helping hand is another.

Seeing a water lily is one thing. Seeing it dance with the small lake waves is incredibly remarkable. A rare encounter.

Seemingly insignificant

shadows from leaves on a sidewalk
While walking yesterday at sunrise. Tiny shadows.

Over-focus on the things you used to under-focus on or ignore.

Like what?

Mind, body, spirit, work, and home.

Pro-tip: become world-class aware of their inextricable connectedness.

Irrefutable.

Transformational.

You’re welcome.

No one will notice, only a few will care

Please forgive me…does an adult really need to be coaxed into drinking water, especially upon waking?

In an hour, the sun will come up ever so earlier than yesterday.

The sun will set ever so slightly later than yesterday.

No one will notice.

Yet there are a few freaks who are aware.

Ah, the days officially begin getting longer starting now.

Do a lot but not so much you can’t seize a moment

inspirational quote
Yesterday in the Resort hallway. Catch the three sentences at the very bottom? “The better the question. The better the answer. The better the world works.”

Do a lot but not so much you can’t seize a moment.

Notice an inspirational quote on a wall.

Invite someone to do something they never get invited to do.

Both of these were available to 450 attendees.

How many of us were so swamped and distracted we barely noticed?
