Like all things in life, depends on your focus.

Taken a week before Disney retirement after 30+ years and one year after book release announcement, this photo timestamps a date and place: October 2014 at Orlando’s Amway Center.

Some fascinating stats:

Envisioned it in college
Took 30 years to write first sentence
Took two years to write
Took two additional years for the guts to publish
Never mentioned Disney, not once, intentionally
Written father to son as life-guide in case i died
Never written to make money

Thanksgiving Day, 2013

19-second video: For about 10 seconds in the very center, you can see the Grizzly moving slowly. Highline Trail and Going-to-the-Sun Road also clearly visible.

In 1979 i made a promise to write a book to my kids.

In 2009, 30 years later, a career wakeup call was a painful reminder the first sentence had yet to be written.

Additionally, there was only one child to write to, not several.

Only my Son and i knew the status:

Thirty years to write the first sentence
Two more years to write the book
Two more years to get the courage to publish

Had it published on Amazon in October 2013, knowing the official reveal to Cheryl with a physical copy would purposefully happen on Thanksgiving (2013) morning.

She had heard me talk so much about it, but never saw any tangible result. She thought i silently abandoned it.

Cheryl was shocked to hold a copy in her hands.

Was filled with gratitude – thanksgiving – that i finally did what i said i was gonna do.

Thanksgiving, on multiple levels, was the perfect day to tell Cheryl, and the world.

Home 2021 wins

well water system — Old chemical injection system. It worked but tubing would consistently and randomly disconnect. No chlorine means untreated water.

New chemical injection system. The improvement is invisible beyond the color of the injection pump. The unseen improvements are a 1,000% improvement.

Home 2021 wins:

Maintained home vibrancy all day, every day
Fixed chronic well-water maintenance issue
Enhanced onsite and remote home security vibrancy
