The magic of organized habits

Yesterday we had lunch here. Today is Thanksgiving 2015.

The magic of organized habits. Our brain is super powerful and is programmed by the thoughts that fill our brain.

Thinking nothing but good and decent thoughts is transformational.

Thinking predominantly about fear, failure, low self-esteem, problems, unfairness, insecurities, excuses, regret – all these things are transformational too.

Pick one.

Stick with it for a lifetime and reap what you’ve sown.

It really isn’t any more complicated than that.

Wishing you the best.

Just a friendly reminder that i experience the full range of emotions that everyone else feels. My writing can easily be interpreted as being without the pain and frustration brought on by living in a challenging world.

The key is organizing our auto-response to daily challenges, pressures, and disappointments.

There is only one response to the inevitable, this.

Habits define us

West Orange High School Administration office
An afterthought two days ago to capture real life in real time.

Habits define us.

Was not sure about High School.

Glad it is continuing.

Potentially to continue as a 14-year habit tradition in his Senior year.

Habits.

Double-edged sword as it were.

Short and pithy is his calling card

Photo: A metaphor for how life’s focus isn’t always in focus.

Today’s five posts were true to Mid Life Celebration’s blogging vision, which is short and pithy.

A favorite illustration about how challenging it is to say a lot with very little: “I wanted to write you a shorter letter but didn’t have time.”
