The Painters at Central Shops created a propellor-like drill bit to allow for faster and better paint mixing of large quantities of product.

The Chefs at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort saw what the painters did and adapted the same process for mixing large quantities of salad dressings, soups, and sauces.

Village Inn at Apgar
Claudette’s team cleans room that all have the same view.

 

Claudette, the Housekeeping manager at the Village Inn at Apgar, and i spoke several times during my two-night stay. Complimented her on her leadership and attention to details.

She said her job is like being a cop and a parent.

That’s exactly how to explain leadership in a layperson’s terms.

Pushing yourself, intentionally, literally has no ending point. We will eventually die and whether someone has to come in behind us to clean up after we’re gone will be the final exam.

Never much of an academic studier, i have evolved into an ambitious student of “life”.

Hoping to ace the final.

PS. The final test will come without warning for most of us. Now is the time to be ready. The best day to get started was 20 years ago. The second best day is today.
