Big day at HQ

Windermere Prep HS
Yesterday at High School common area.

Big day at HQ yesterday.

Officially signed a new speaking contract, although the verbal agreement last week was the same thing – a guarantee.

Also, most relaxed and engaged conversation with a high school freshman.

Patience is strength.

Be passionate, tell stories, use personal examples

Small plane buzzing Chimney Rock
Two days ago i was quick to see this opportunity. It was gone in seconds.

Stayed up past midnight to watch Bridges of Madison County with Cheryl.

Had it not been for the Fraternity reunion, i probably wouldn’t have.

The organization that 35 young men demonstrated to go from being a “Colony” to getting the official Sigma Phi Epsilon “Charter” is what makes this “Fraternity” reunion different. It’s not open to the entire Fraternity, only those 35 who laid the foundation.

This bond cannot be broken.

The best we can do

Mitchell's Sand Castles Ocean Mist Cottage
Yesterday before leaving.

Mitchell's Sand Castles Ocean Mist Cottage
Yesterday morning. A reminder of next year’s view.

The best we can do is the best we can do.

Our busy lives with multiple, and often competing priorities, can be so overwhelming that we crumble under the pressure.

It’s the paradox of getting, being, and staying organized.

The 2016 accommodations got booked yesterday.

Sanibel Island movie theater
Waiting to be entertained.

Leaving Sanibel in an hour or so for Walt Disney World (home).

Cheryl leaves in less than 24 hours for a 14-day work trip at Disneyland.

Chapin and i leave in less than 48 hours for Glacier National Park for five days.

Organization helps makes this feel more exciting than overwhelming.

The first sentence is very telling

Disney Institute blog post
Yesterday on Facebook.

If the above statistic is accurate and 70% actually fail, i’d like to offer an expert observation that is going to suggest a much higher percentage for cultural transformation.

It’s more like 99% that fail.

The difference in numbers is easy.

Organizational change is one thing.

Cultural transformation is entirely another.

A small percentage of people take up running, and stay with it for a few years.

An even smaller percentage take up running and run until they die.
