After all the goodness of the day, a great night’s sleep is a welcomed, and an expected, reward.

Dear Son,

Writing for myself, first and foremost, has helped me be a better parent.

How do i know?

Gut feeling.

Writing everyday forces me to think deeper, reach higher, care more, and work harder.

100% fatality rate, home

It’ll take a few seconds, or a few decades. Depends on the goal.

This text is brilliant marketing. The sender is preying on the receiver becoming so annoyed they respond. The spammer then wins. The spammer is aiming to “win” with every text.
Apple customer experience feedback message
Brent, my Apple associate, was remarkable. Gave him a glowing review. There were glitches in the brand new tradeout to the smaller phone. He was so graceful.

None of us get out of this life alive.

Not sure of my best-home-life-habits fatality rate after i’m gone.

Over-focus on the same things you used to under-focus on or ignore.

Three Chalet Nights

empty dorm room
Sparse yet enough.

Each building has four four-bedroom apartments. That’s 16 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, four kitchens, and four living rooms.

Turns out it’s about one mile to the summit. All of it uphill.

Our Pacific Beachfront apartment is in the right shoreline. Too many white condo buildings to pick it out specifically.

We said farewell to our Son’s Apartment.

He turned in his key and said goodbye.

During our first visit in January, we became friends with the new owner. Denise talked about having us visit their Brisbane hometown and see some sights. It didn’t work out but it was a nice thought.

Seeing his room empty again brought back memories of our first day six months ago. It also conjures up memories of our Glacier Chalet visits: sparse accommodations yet having everything you need.

Only days away from a three-week countdown to my 2024 return to the Continental Divide.

Senior Year Day 4, home

48-second video: Returning from Glacier, visited Magic Kingdom three times; Monday, Thursday, and Friday (yesterday). Never planned to visit back to back days.
Stumbled upon this today. Reminded that lower-casing your name is rarely done, especially on a ‘professional’ network.

It is my greatest act to let my life be my message.

Son, discern your life’s priorities.

Use life’s five big choices as your pillars.

And remember…

If you lined up all the boys in the world, you know who is my favorite?
