Chronic home issues define your future.

Chronic issues also foreshadow your life’s quality in the final decades.

Decades.

One, two, or even three decades of poor home administrative habits compounding over time.

The reverse of compound interest is compound decline.

Positive news, the reverse of compound decline is compound increase.

Compounding for one, two, or even three decades with great home administrative habits.

Themed HQ

a family room decorated for Christmas
We come to know the true meaning of HQ when we celebrate having an HQ every day.

Not dreaming of a white Christmas.

Dreaming of going out at the top of the game. Quitting after dominating the Olympics so to speak.

Leaving the track in peak form, not limping off the track because you stayed in the game past your peak.

HQ achilles heel

Disney keynote speaker Jeff Noel in the mountains
Nice tee-shirt, bruh.

HQ achilles heel.

The paperwork of life gets brought under control.

Then a variety of scenarios happen over your lifetime.

You get behind quickly, undoing the freedom and peace you felt from being caught up.

You stay caught up for a decent amount of time, perhaps even setting a personal record for the duration of freedom and peace.

Or thirdly, you slide back and forth on a length-of-time scale.

The goal of course is to get organized with “the paperwork of life” and stay organized.

The will to explore at home

Disney speaker and author Jeff noel's first book
This was Fall 2013. The will to prioritize priorities included publishing a book. And, preparing to retire from Disney after 30 years instead of 40.

The will to explore at home.

Do you have it?

On a scale of 1-10, 10 is best.

What’s your number?

Home life hack, aim for a perfect 10.

Adventure awaits. Uncharted territory awaits. Growth awaits. Even at home. Always at home.

A funny thing happened on the way

A funny thing happened on the way to the party.

A late-season (it was November 17) thunderstorm rolled in, fogging up the gigantic windows facing the Magic Kingdom.

Could have been worse.

Weather is always a potential challenge in WDW operations. Always.

We roll with it and never complain about it.

The smaller head count allowed for the food and beverage menus to be upgraded. Yes, these events have a budget – which is decent for a 30-year Cast Member. It was first class all the way.

Our drive home after the party took minutes.

It is never lost on me that the original vision was to live within five minutes of Walt Disney World.

Check.

To this day, it remains a “check”.
