Learning

Learning.

We learn by observing and thinking.

Find a million ways to observe and think.

This is learning’s key.

Broad, deep, constant.

We can only use what we know.

Know as much as you can on what personal vibrancy means to you.

Then continuously act on your knowledge. And continually learn.

Note: Two of life’s five big choices (pillars), Mind and Home, start the same. Observing, thinking, learning. Also, they both share similar personal vibrancy DNA because both revolve around ideas as the conduit to success.

Thinking

Home life.

Thinking about home life…

Over-focus on the same things others under-focus on or ignore…

Everything we decide to do or don’t do is first thought about in our mind.

You are the CEO of You, Inc.

Everything is your responsibility.

Everything.

Everything you do or don’t do.

Everything done in the order you do it is your responsibility

It’s your responsibility to think through intentional details others ignore or under-focus on. For everything in your life.

Think though, “what does optimizing my life look and feel like?”

Every move we make or don’t make is first a thought.

Every prayer we make or don’t make is first a thought.

Every work decision and action we make or don’t make is first a thought.

Every priority we make or don’t make is first a thought.

Observing

Every night is campfire and movie night.

Listening is important.

There are many smart people in our world.

Somewhere along my life’s journey i learned an important insight.

What people say and what they do are often different.

Watching, observing, is more telling than listening.

Same with yourself.

Be careful what you tell yourself and ensure that your actions mirror your thoughts. For most of us, thoughts and actions are varying degrees of different. They should be mirror images.

We judge ourselves on our intentions. Others judge us on our behaviors.

And finally, for now, what you do thunders so loudly, i can’t hear what you say.

Balance is not a myth

space mountain and lots of orange traffic cones
World Drive is the main street in our hometown, which hosts big time running events. Couple days ago…the 2026 Walt Disney World Marathon.

Tomorrow i have a podiatrist appointment and later a massage.

Feet, joints, ligaments, tendons, legs.

These are a few of my favorite things.

Haven’t ‘jogged’ since last Wednesday, a week ago.

Started to jog five days ago last Friday but developed a left-calf ‘cramp’. so i immediately stopped. Been on daily ice, rest, ibuprofen.

Podiatrist appointment is unrelated to running, this time anyway.

The massage is me trying to use up accumulated, unused monthly auto-paid credits.

Gonna ask Charlene what she feels in that left calf.

Hoping it’s nothing and then i’m back to the slow and steady return to running.
