Planning a year in advance

Planning a year in advance. You come back from an eight-day writer’s retreat and you immediately start planning for next year’s retreat.

Why?

Because popular venues fill up early. To get your first choice accommodations you need to do it sooner rather than later.

In text books it’s called planning ahead.

Common sense, not common practice.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

Go

Go.

This is the opposite of stop, the antithesis of wait.

Go.

It’s the only way to overcome what’s holding us back.

Go.

The truth about simple

Daisies
Anomaly? Sure.

The simpler the better.

Life is already challenging enough, why make it complicated?

Nature understands this.

What does that mean to any of us?

The supporting structure at home exceeded my expectations

Glacier Park tee shirt
Even from here i receive alerts of motion and sound and can play the video clip or stream live.

A 2016 initiative to install an extensive home/business security system did something unexpected this trip; it allowed me to have the unique, never-before opportunity to view my home/business on a daily basis. This peace of mind was worth the financial investment.

i was also able to control lights and other home features.

Peace of mind amplified.

Thank you technology.

Back at our room around noon, we (mostly Cheryl) packed and loaded the car. i double booked us for Friday night so we could check out of Rising Sun as late as we wanted to and still get to Kalispel before dark. With a 6:15am flight, we didn’t want to drive three hours over Going-To-The-Sun Road from 1:30am-4:30am.

A leisurely drive east from 2:30pm-5:30pm, with many stops, landed us in Apgar for dinner at Eddie’s. Some shopping and then a 45-minute drive to Kalispel. The hotel was less than impressive but we found things to be grateful for. The second day of the Olympics was on TV as we fell asleep around 10:30pm.
