This may be terminal

(photo: Note the upper right corner time 8:23am… some see a new OS as uncomfortable change. Others see it as exciting change.)

Half-full or half-empty is up to us to say.

There are three types of writing maladies:

  1. Writer’s block, the most common
  2. Writer’s flood, very rare
  3. Writer’s tsunami, exceptionally rare

And what one sees as a disease, another sees as a gift.

The gift of having writer’s flood is anticipated to take on new, uncharted meaning beginning today, because of the impending tsunami.

The official announcement two days ago, the impending promotion, and the new set of rules – this may be terminal.

Work that takes so long and is so hard that it is never finished or never begun

Mid Life Celebration check book
Haven’t written enough checks in five years to move to a second booklet… feels good

Turned in 2013 paperwork for Mid Life Celebration’s tax preparation yesterday April 3, 2014.

Not many checks get written, but the Visa card gets a serious monthly workout.

What are we called to do?

For the past 63 months (five years worth plus Jan-Mar this year), MLC has spent $1,000/month in building a platform and a solid foundation on which to raise money for a cure.

Some would ask cynically, why not just donate $63,000 to CCFA?

A low risk ,short term approach thinks this way.

A bold, crazy mind thinks about impossible.

Very few breakthroughs come without hard work. Long work.

Work that takes so long and is so hard that it is never finished or never begun.

Make no small plans.

Life is not a dress rehearsal.

iPhone 5S display anomaly was fixed by the Apple’s Genius Bar (a white line for each year?)

Everybody at the Mall of Millenia wants to be cool. Okay, well, we can’t say everyone for sure. But for sure, it sure looked like it yesterday. Yeah, went back to the Apple Store for something.

Sat in the same place as the night before.

Will be ordering a bunch of books later today.

Five years ago I predicted it would take five years.

Organize the school year so that today’s students are prepared for the future

School bulletin board
This moment in time is worth a second, slightly different, look

Organize the school year so that today’s students are prepared for the future:

  • Agriculture
  • Technology
  • Health care

Stephanie articulated at the very beginning the big three future challenges and opportunities she sees middle school students facing/embracing.

I think she’s spot on.

Clear. Concise. Compelling.

Inspiring.
