Impossible is the only goal with the power to stir the human soul.
dad
Achievable goals have no power to stir the human soul.
Everyday life is my best and favorite classroom.

Lean into the discomfort of doing mostly uncommon habits.
dad
First time experiences happen everyday.
We rarely pause to reflect that each new day has never happened before.
If you lean into this, jeff, you will see and think (and possibly do) things for the first time.

Same ‘ole, same ‘ole is its nickname.
Good news though. Your same ‘old, same ‘old is respectably present.
Enjoy today.
No doubt you will.
Note to self: Thank you for inspiring me to enjoy the path less traveled.

Magic happens with conviction and commitment. But don’t push it on others.
dad
Politics and religion remind me of zealots.
The zealots make me nauseous.
Conversely, my zeal inspires me.
Why?
Because it’s self-imposed.
No one but me is looking at my deficiencies and my opportunities.
As it should be.
Religious and political zealots, to me, forget that their right to be a zealot does not make them a deity.
Note: Talking lofty stuff is scary. Exciting too. And if i really want to pursue lofty stuff, i need a coach that pushes me hard. Writing lofty stuff is the echo of my own voice talking to me as my coach.
