Dear Son, I can’t stop writing five separate, daily blogs, not yet.

After four consecutive years, the focus and discipline is gaining some attention.

Only you and I can honest say that it was simply a 100-day challenge. Nothing more, nothing less.

But now, there is no end in sight.

And no ability to skip a day.

And no (current) explanation that will make any sense to anyone.

The unspoken pain of obligation to your brand. For four years, I’ve written five daily, differently-themed posts. There is so much to do today and I wanted to get a jump start on it.

But first, there’s an obligation, a promise, to solemnly swear to walk the talk. To actually write five different blogs. Every single day. Without fail.

Work life balance… It’s critical, and often unpopular work. It’s mostly “underground”. Someday mainstream? Even taught to children in schools (assuming schools survive)?

The longer the Internet’s only five-a-day blogger writes, the crazier the whole thing seems.

A leader is someone who sees better things in the future and helps others see it and want to go there too.

Insight: Leaders are required to inspire critical, and often unpopular work.
