Moments ago i listened to Episode 14 from Season One. It’s the final episode of what we’ve called “Cast Previews”.
After listening to the first two episodes, i knew immeadiately that we would delay any promotion of it.
Why?
i needed practice.
These 14 episodes are nick-named “The Basement Tapes” because i feel like Jody Maberry (the Host) and i are in our parent’s basement, trying to start a band, finding our sound, having fun, and getting enough confidence to start playing “free gigs”.
PS. Last week the first two episodes of Season Two (called Soft Opening) came back from the editor. Exciting. We recorded eight episodes in a marathon recording day at Walt Disney World.

Jody Maberry, the “Disney Podcaster”, was there too.
All three of Jody’s Disney podcast clients were there last night.
We would have had another 35 Disney years there but Cheryl needed (and wanted) to readjust after being away for four days….and the first day in eight weeks, she could start using our bedroom/bathroom again.

We spent 12 hours at Walt Disney World and recorded as many episodes as we could.
Learned a ton.
Can’t wait to see what other crazy ideas this experience will yield in the future.
In an hour, we (family) head up north to spend the weekend at our son’s future college.
Finally, the remodeling crew that has been here seven weeks will finish tomorrow (a Saturday) and it will be an adjustment to not have them be part of our lives. They’ve been amazing.

Right now it’s a no-brainer. Given the choice to do only one, Glacier easily wins.
Why?
This Summer’s Sanibel Island trip will be our 31 year. Our Glacier trip will be year 11 or 12. It will be our Son’s seventh. He’s been to Sanibel 19 years.
By the time this post is published, i could be biking and hiking through the Crown of the Continent.
i will also just have returned from a keynote speech in Madrid.
Guessing by June 10 the official release of If Disney Ran Your Life podcast will have launched.
