I’m looking for the ones who haven’t given up.

Heavy influences from Apple and Disney yesterday.

How is a person supposed to stop thinking about putting a dent in the Universe?

Another in a constant repetition of insignificant days

West Orange High School Bus line up
Dozens of busses.

Just another insignificant day:

  1. Visit Apple store to try on the Apple Watch…the one ordered a week ago.
  2. Visit Tax Preparer to pay for completed 2014 tax return and pick up personal files.
  3. Visit West Orange High School Ninth Grade Center to verify 2015-16 school enrollment process.

The only one that was planned was number two.

The most significant was number three. Had felt a terrible sense of disorganization thinking i had majorly dropped the ball. Turns out, there are two more months before High School registration begins.

Our Tax Preparer saved us $14k.

A seriously absurd notion

Notice upper left and right in photo above? Love to run, live to run translate to love to write, live to write.

Six years ago (Spring 2009) was contemplating how to overcome three decades of excuses for not writing the book that was a solemn promise back in 1979.

And in this contemplative thought, a seriously absurd notion:

What if you challenged yourself to a 100-day, self-imposed writer’s bootcamp? All you have to do is write one blog a day for each of your five websites.

It was so utterly impossible that the challenge actually felt insanely compelling and motivating. Could the impossible actually be possible?

Figure it out is all we can do

On the sidewalk, an icon or logo idea.

Funny how things on our to-do list can go untouched all day. Not the day to day stuff, but the other stuff we need to do on top of daily responsibilities.

Figure it out is all we can do.

Step up to the plate every single day

New Year's Resolutions

(photo: December 31, 2014 from a Senior Living Facility in Allentown, PA. The time and temperature on the bottom right are from Philly. It’s 25 here.)

The beautiful thing about writing five daily, differently-themed blogs is that every day is not a home run. But every day is an opportunity to step up to the plate and swing away.

Whatever it is you hope for, may you step up to the plate every single day.
