The reason

How many Leadership books and articles have been written over time? A Goo-Gillion? Probably. What are they all trying to say? They can’t all be saying something different.

The reason for asking JB a second time was because I finally got real with myself and said, “You’re never gonna write seven Disney Business books on your own.”

Saying that out loud, freed me to be willing to pay a substantial fee to enlist JB’s expertise. In fact, based on a scalable formula for all seven books, the fee seemed like a well-paid opportunity.

JB countered with a number that took my breath away.

Got frustrated.

Got defensive (probably).

We shook hands and never spoke of it again.

Second favorite teacher

Short video: Second favorite teacher? Reading. Or maybe, writing.

My second favorite teacher is reading?

Or maybe, reading used to be the second favorite.

Perhaps all these years later, writing is the second favorite teacher.

Second or third, either way, reading and writing are on the medal-podium.

The truth isn’t telling the story

Regret tells the truth. Change tells the story.

In hindsight, patience

Alarm clock digital
Sleep deprivation insidiously and negatively impacts our rational thinking.

Getting negativity caught off guard or being predictably put into an un-optimal situation attracts tension, anxiety, and impatience.

Note to self, impatience solves nothing.
