Springtime Magic

decorated mailbox — Was thinking maybe an hour bike ride, maybe 12 miles. Nope. Last minute turn took the bike to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.

Springtime Magic.

Yes indeed.

Never gets old.

After working nearly five hours, went out (later than hoped) for a bike ride. Because of the late start, figured one hour.

At the subdivision exit had two choices. Left or right.

Picked right.

Six miles down to the major intersection and back. A nice 12-miler.

Four miles down i made a right turn. Took me to Epcot, then Fort Wilderness. So those 20 miles were a blessing on multiple levels…especially recognizing everyday Magic.

There are very few people, things, and circumstances that you can trust.

This is why prioritizing your priorities is mission critical.

Remember, you were born and you will die.

How you live in between those two events is all you get on Earth.

Focus your time on the essentials.

Only take what you can carry is a great rule of thumb.

Travel lean.

Leave the place better than you found it.

Pack it in, pack it out.

When you’re in diapers, there’s not a lot that you need or want except the basics, the necessities.

In the prime of our lives (the peak of the proverbial bell curve) we know neither the basics nor the necessities.
