GoDaddy Tech Support Day 6, home

My “Managed WordPress” Hosting account came with 100 GB of data storage. Overnight, I went from less than 100 GB (the limit), to 139 GB. How? Why?

As of yesterday, December 9, 2025, the “optimized” database size has not been reduced.

Meanwhile, from December 5, the second annual Disney (mostly) Resorts executive leadership reunion. Mostly retired folks, but not all. Also, some outliers like me (the lowest ranking Disney Leader) and Cheryl (36 years in HR). Everyone worked with Cheryl at some point, and for generous durations.

Great photographers take multiples of the same thing.

Just keep shooting. And if you can, throw in an “Us-E”.

Faith, Hope, and Love.

People.

Disney.

WordPress.

GoDaddy.

Reunions.

Disney's beauty and the beast on stage
Reading is a great habit. Just ask Belle.

Lots of reading on how to solve WordPress challenges.

But the trying is the tricky part.

One simple error can crash your site.

This happened to me six days ago.

i love creative solutions

Germany. We walked three miles at Epcot. Later in the day walked five miles from Magic Kingdom to our home.

i love visiting Disney with Family and friends.

We drove two cars to Epcot. Knowing eventually, cousin Michael would want to stay and we would want to return home, and both could happen seamlessly.

At the last minute, midday, we decided to go via monorail to Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

Spontaneously, i decided to walk home from the Magic Kingdom. But not before going to the Train Station and grabbing an “us-ee”.

FIXED! White screen of death, home

WordPress admin screen shot
At the bottom of this photo you see jeffnoel.org

Not seeing jeffnoel.org’s white screen of death is a glorious sight.

Not losing 6,000+ blog posts is a remarkably blessed feeling.

Having the weirdness to publish five daily, differently-themed blog posts for 17 consecutive years is a personal mystery. The closest educated guess on why i do it is this:

i enjoy it and cannot help myself.

A leader’s most critical role is to envision a future that’s not only better than now, but much better than now. -dad
