Today is 2015’s New Year’s Eve Eve.

The eve of New Year’s eve, December 30, 2015.

The 14th anniversary of the last day i drank alcohol.

So tomorrow, December 31 (the “real” New Year’s Eve) is the 14th anniversary of the first sober New Year’s Eve in the previous 28 or so.

Never let your memories be bigger than your dreams.

There was no time to be bored today.

Engagement, which is heavily influenced by activity and state changes, was intentionally baked into today’s 8:30am -5:00pm classroom block.

Adult learners bore easily.

It should only happen on rare exceptions, and never when you’re in charge.

Making something simple is hard

Last night the final, final review. It’s off to the printer this morning.

 

It’s not the Magic that makes it work at Disney, it’s the hard work that makes it Magic.

The effort involved in creating a different type of workbook for a two-day conference was much greater than i anticipated. Making something simple is hard.

Dear Son, short and pithy is a key, repeatable message point. Even having a “guiding light” mantra, you may still struggle with it’s essence. Remember, luck and karma are not the same.
