Under pressure?

How much is enough is the theme running through my head this year.

Since meeting with Fidelity because both our 401k accounts are there, there’s an awareness now that we have enough to live comfortably without working.

Why did i venture to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort Convention Center yesterday?

How do you and when should you turn down an opportunity to be with Lee, Dan and Valerie Cockerell, Jody Maberry, as well as to meet Jamie and JJ Eubanks from Magical Vacation Planners?

When?

Apparently not yesterday.

There is a hard sell for many Americans (me included) that we need to radically change our social behavior before we see the overwhelmingly tangible numbers.

RIP Leaky Tiki

RIP Leaky Tiki.

Yesterday’s Jungle Cruise boat sinking was a wow, but not the good kind.

In true Disney fashion, safety takes a back seat to nothing. No one was hurt.

Our pride was bruised, and the Show must go on.

Thank you to my college buddies for texting me right away. Some even suggested i get over to Adventureland (Florida) asap to check on things and save the day.

They didn’t know we are celebrating at Disneyland (California) this week.

Do you spend it the same way?

Pre's rock
Unassuming. Trivial, at best, to most.

Do you spend it the same way?

Spend what?

Your time.

Do you spend your time with the same under-focused way you spend your money? (yes, making a general stereotype that most adults are financially ill-prepared for retirement)

Bankruptcy is not only financial, but also chronological.

We could have spent our time differently yesterday morning, but chose to experience the karma of America’s running legend.

Get organized would you?

Those books. When? Soon? Please.

The greatest trap is telling yourself you’ll do something important later. Tomorrow.

Today is yesterday’s tomorrow.

Excuses feed apathy.

Apathy feeds waiting and doing nothing.

The longer you wait the harder it gets.

“Later” is where dreams go to die.

Say that again, “Later is where dreams go to die.”

Rejoice, once again, in your initiative.

The struggle is real

A summer of hiking in Glacier with these clothes plus what i wore on the plane was all i had. Takes a lifetime to get the basics confirmed and then thrive with daily execution.

The struggle is real.

Want specifics?

Okay.

The struggle with:

  1. Staying positive
  2. Staying healthy
  3. Staying peaceful
  4. Staying remarkable
  5. Staying organized

Mind, body, spirit, work, home – life’s five big buckets.

Balance is not a myth, if you are willing to trust that you can use life’s five big buckets to slowly and steadily move away from surviving and move closer to thriving.

Be amazed and be amazing.
