Mile High Montessori School, Denver

It went from one-minute to 20+ minutes in a heartbeat.

In a rare opportunity to catch our son’s teacher in a casual, relaxed moment, we went from the typical cursory conversation to her asking all about last week’s Denver trip.

Had texted her the photo above, in real time, during a 10-mile run through town.

What was incredibly stimulating were her questions. Which comes as no surprise, because she is an attorney by trade.

Rarer still, someone’s ability to challenge my thinking. LOVE when that happens.

It inspires me to remember that’s my most important differentiator amongst a sea of ‘professional speakers’.

They dined in an Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow

Disney Speakers jeff noel
Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.

Last night, a Friday, after school we were organized enough to travel to Japan to have a quick dinner at Katsura Grill in Japan.

Snapped the photo while walking from Epcot’s main entrance.

This was Walt Disney’s vision-come-to-life. EPCOT: Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.

The seeds of intentionality were planted long ago.

Walt’s vision was born from a successful failure, Disneyland.

He never dreamed 160 acres would be entirely too little land to house his dreams.

i never dreamed i’d become a solo entrepreneur.

But last night entering Epcot, was organized enough to recognize the arrival of a dream come true.

Balance is not a myth.

Work is only work if you’d rather be doing something else.

jeff began writing on April Fools Day 2009 to leave a trail for his young son in case something bad ever happened.

Everyday since (2k+ days) he’s written five differently themed posts about balance:

Mind • Body • Spirit • Work • Home

Thanksgiving Day 2013 published best selling book.

This photo is so old, we both carried Blackberrys.

Bob Iger’s vision for The Walt Disney Company is organized around three precepts:

  1. Creativity
  2. Technology
  3. Globalization

And using those three, to become the most admired company in the world.

Maybe it’s impossible. Apple just earned their eighth consecutive Most Admired Company distinction.
